Seeing the Great Barrier Reef was something I'd wanted to do for years and years. The prospect of going to the UK for the next two years, and therefore without a chance of seeing for at least that long, forced my hand- I had to do it before I left!

For the Easter break we went up to see the Blue Mountains, a place we'd both wanted to see for years. The beauty of the place is breath taking and we really had a fantastic holiday. We flew up to Sydney and hired a car, and drove the mountains ourselves. At the end of the trip, we spent a day in Sydney, meeting mum and dad for breaky in Darling Harbour.

Where it all began! Both of us ended up on the same Contiki tour of the Australian Outback, and the rest as they say is history. This trip was incredible, and not just because its where we met. Exploring the Outback was a dream come true for both of us, something we'd always wanted to do. We spent 2 weeks visiting Alice Springs, Uluru, Kata Juta, King's Canyon, Devil's Marbles, Tennant Creek, Katherine Gorge, Kakadu and concluding the trip in Darwin.
