Prague is a city that everybody raves about. After visiting it for ourselves, we would have to agree. The city itself is quite small and we were lucky enough to have some fantastic weather, which made walking around the city so much more enjoyable.

Early October was the perfect time to visit the French Riveria- most of the crowds had gone and the weather was still really nice. We had a great week in Nice, managing to visit the gorgeous hilltop villages of Eze and St.Paul de Vence as well as Monaco.

Our first wedding anniversary present to each other was a trip to our favourite city- Paris. We took the Eurostar from the brand new St Pancras station, and had a wonderful time once again.

Everybody raves about how great Barcelona is and we had to see it for ourselves. Amazing architecture, great beaches and catching up with Nick and Nomes made for a wonderful trip.

My dad's family are Dutch so I've always wanted to visit the Netherlands. Amsterdam is a beautiful city and nothing like what I expected. We managed to squeeze in a day trip to Rotterdam, where my dad's family lived, and even found dad's old house!

An eight day trip covering Pisa, Florence, Siena and Venice. We had a truly wonderful time and will always remember Venice, where we became engaged on a gondola ride on the Grand Canal.

Our second trip to the European main land was Rome. Going in November meant that the weather was cool, but the crowds were low. We had a great time there, and managed to see a good deal of the sites.
