milan & lake como

A holiday at Easter is a tradition for us, we've gone away somewhere each year we've been together. We missed out on having a honeymoon so we wanted to make this year's easter trip extra special. Lake Como fits the bill perfectly. I fell in love with the place when I saw it in Attack of the Clones. One day will be spent in Milan seeing the Duomo and the Last Supper and then we've got 3 days on the Lake.

We've wanted to see more of France ever since we went to Paris, and the South of France in particular. Most of our holidays are 3 days long, and we fit as much into those days as we can. This time we are having a proper holiday, 2 weeks long. Nice will be used as a base to explore the Cote D'Azur- Cannes, St Tropez etc, and then we will make our way through to Avignon and over to Carcossne. I saw the medieval city on TV last year and have been dieing to go there ever since. We'll then hit the Pyrenees for a few days hiking. Cannot wait.
